DR WOVEN: 2024 Prep & Foundation
In early 2024, DR WOVEN Textile Factory officially initiated the preparation, located in a textile industrial cluster, focusing on the R&D and customized production of high-end ready-to-wear fabrics. It initially invested in core equipment, including 5 imported jacquard looms and 2 sets of digital cutting systems, and simultaneously established a production team led by technicians with more than 10 years of experience, laying the business foundation of “craftsmanship first, customization-oriented”.
Trial Production & Cross-Border Orders
In April of the same year, the first production line of the factory was put into trial operation, firstly undertaking OEM orders from 3 local clothing brands, focusing on suit fabrics and commuter shirt fabrics. It ensured quality through strict Fabric Inspection processes, and the first-month delivery qualification rate reached 99.2%, quickly establishing an industry reputation. In July, the factory upgraded full-chain customization capabilities, launched an integrated service from fabric patterns to ready-to-wear tailoring, added a Pattern Cutting customization module, supporting customers' personalized needs for lining patterns and pattern details. It received the first cross-border customization order that month, producing 200 sets of retro checkered suit fabrics for European customers.
Eco-Fabrics Cert & 2024 Results
In October, the factory responded to the environmental trend, developed 3 types of recycled fiber jacquard fabrics, obtained OEKO-TEX® standard certification, and attracted collaborations with emerging brands focusing on sustainability. By the end of December, it served a total of 42 customers throughout the year, completed a total fabric production of 800,000 meters, and the proportion of customized business increased to 35%. Meanwhile, it established a standardized Customization Process covering “demand communication - solution confirmation - production and delivery”, laying the groundwork for expanding into overseas markets in the following year.
